8.0 A beautiful resort. It's geared towards families, and people who don't want to leave the resort area. We had a rocky check-in process, in part because we didn't know that they have multiple towers. Parking is a real problem here, and that created real stress. The parking garage allows so little space per car that you may find yourself unable to open doors to get in-and-out. If you stay here and have a rental car, make sure you get a sub- compact. You should make reservations to eat at either of the two restaurants on the property. The lagoon/beach is idyllic. Just lovely. The employees were mostly friendly. We ran into one bad apple, but she was an exception. The location is terrible if you plan on seeing sights around the island. The traffic heading east in the morning, or back to the resort in the west in the afternoons is as bad as any large metropolitan area in the US. I think Honolulu's traffic is worse than the Washington, DC area. It's a real shame. My wife and I won't return to Oahu, in large measure because of the traffic. We wouldn't consider returning to this resort because of traffic, poor location, and the parking situation.

10 We absolutely loved every part of our stay. The reason for four stars for the room was because how horrible the mattresses were and we did call and get them switched out. We just couldn’t believe it hadn’t been done before we got there because they were so bad. I liked that there was three pool options, a store to get some basics and or souvenirs, a bay outside of the hotel with calm Waters. They could definitely work on providing food for gluten or dairy allergies - in the store and restaurants.

10 We spent 7 days at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club and overall had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the trip. We stayed in the main tower connected to the check-in desk. While the room had amazing views, the rooms themselves could use some updates. The location and beach were beautiful and very peaceful, with plenty of activities around the resort. I used the gym, sauna, and steam room, and those areas were always clean. The kids loved the pool, splash pad, and shaved ice stand. We also had a great brunch at Longhi’s Ko Olina inside the resort. Overall, we would definitely recommend this resort for families.

10 This is one of the best resorts on the island! The grounds here are beautiful and well maintained with flowers and different plants everywhere. Many rooms overlook the pool and garden with the ocean backdrop, It's stunning! The rooms are very nice, beds are super comfy and the balconies are big with glass barriers so you can see. They have a whole cove on the ocean that is a perfect beach. Calm water with tons of chairs and umbrellas. There's a great walking path the snakes along the ocean with green spaces between resorts. The pool is a dream. It's very large, with multiple levels built around natural boulders with waterfalls, a cave and two hot tubs. There is a third stand alone hot tub as well. It's fun for kids and adults. Plus there is a clam reflection pool that creates serenity if that's more your pace. The restaurants are expensive, even for resort prices. As there isn't many options nearby. So they get you there, but the food it good. I'd skip the market breakfast a sandwichs though. This is a very family friendly resort and there trends to be many families and children. When you picture a Hawaiian resort in the ocean, this place is a gold standard.

8.0 Overall a very nice place to spend some relaxing time in a tropical paradise, secluded from the "big city". There were some points i feel need improving to make it 5/5. I would still recommend it to friends though! Pros: - very nice and friendly staff - very nice facilities, beautiful tropical esthetics - great proximity to both beach and pool (right by the room) - beach is really nice, a lagoon that blocks waves with big rocks. - nice walkway connecting all 4 lagoons in the area. Perfect for morning/evening walk - pool was nice, there is jacuzzi and slide. - restaurants in the area were really good! Needs improvement: - there was a locked door connecting our room to the one next to it, it was very noisy and we could hear our neighbors. - checkin took a long time and seemed a bit disorganized. (The guy went to print+ get other papers multiple times) - during checkout a random cost was added for parking, even though we dont have car. They acknowledged the mistake and it was rectified but just seems a bit disorganized.

8.0 This is our 4th stay at this resort. We stayed for 6 nights. In the room was a king bed , a double pull-out couch , 1 small round table, and 2 chairs. Toiletries are my fave here! High quality smells heavenly (mango scent) and plenty of fills. There is a good-sized washroom, a mini fridge, plates, cups, utensils, a toaster, a rice cooker, and coffee makers. The coffee is good quality ; they will also provide more Keurig pods if you call them . They are not stingy when it comes to extra refills. There is a station for drinkable water on the main floor, bring 1 mug per person. Lobbies are spacious with sitting areas. The whole resort is well-kept. The grounds are well-manicured , and the pools are clean at all times. The only thing that is painful here is the long wait at the desk , almost always. Parking is not bad, and it is quite convenient, as the proximity to the building is great. The gift shop has a Starbucks in it, and it has a great variety of groceries and emergency needs like meds, special toiletries, and specific dietary needs -a good variety of food for a resort convenience store. There are two restaurants on-site: Longhi's, which , to be honest, I find way overpriced. They expect a tip even for an order of just an acai bowl to go . Longboards is much preferred, with a more justifiable price tag per plate. Bring your walking footwear, as the grounds, especially near the lagoons, are just dreamy. This is a great resort option if you are looking for a much quieter and more relaxing area compared to Waikiki. You will need a car if you plan to navigate Oahu for more than one day. This resort is about 40 minutes away from Waikiki without traffic . With traffic, it could take about 1 . 5 hours to get to Waikiki Beach . If you are checking in after 8:30 PM , plan to have eaten before getting to this resort. There are no food options on site after that time. We learned the hard way the first time. Otherwise, this is within walking distance of delicious eateries at the main Ko Olina center during the day. Don't miss the Eggs 'n Things restaurant in that area -really awesome brunch! Drinks are good here but pricey. This resort is a great option for families. Look for rooms in this resort in AIRBNB. You will save hundreds of $. We will return :)

8.0 We spent a week at the Marriott Beach Club Ko Olina and LOVED it. Ko Olina is a small resort community that has 3 resorts (Marriott, Disney, Four Seasons). The vacant lots indicate that there may be more in the future. The natural coast on the west side is rocky so there are 4 man-made lagoons with nice sandy beaches. There is a nice path along the beach connecting all of the resorts by a short, beautiful walk. This is also a popular exercise trail and pretty heavily used throughout the day. You can also walk to a small retail area with a few shops and restaurants including a very upscale ABC store. Our 2 bedroom villa was AMAZING. It was huge! I loved that one bedroom had 2 twins which was great for our family - 2 adults and 2 adult-sized teens. I also loved that there are laundry facilities (including detergent) in the room. I wish I would have known that in advance - I would have packed less. Not only do the villas have full kitchens, but they have a bank of grills and sets of clean grilling utensils available. Loved that particularly since the restaurants and bar on property were pretty expensive and only "okay" food. Our family participated in a few of the activities and they were fun. We loved the corn hole tournament and the poker tournament. There is not a huge variety though and the activities fill up so if you like that stuff you have to be on top of making reservations. I also loved that they have a policy about reserving pool chairs and they enforce it. Even with the resort totally full over Christmas/New Year we were always able to get chairs. While the location is beautiful, it is about 30-40 minutes from Honolulu. We found ourselves driving back to Honolulu half the days of our trip for SCUBA diving and other activities. We were there over the holidays so only experienced the notoriously bad traffic one day, but that one time took us 30 minutes to go 3 miles! If you want an active vacation, you may spend a lot of time in the car. Not an issue if you plan on just hanging at the resort. I deducted one star for service because our room was not ready at check-in and then I had to argue with the front desk to give us a slightly later check-out. Seemed only fair to me that if they short-changed us on the front that they should make it up at the end which they eventually did. Note that everything on the resort closes pretty early and there isn't much nightlife nearby. This is definitely more of a family place. If you want a party, stay in Waikiki. Also note that this is a timeshare property. You will be encourage to attend the timeshare pitch. We just didn't do it and it was fine. But the property is so beautiful that it did make me think twice about buying in!

10 Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club is an absolutely extraordinary place for a relaxing vacation. The resort is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Oahu, where you’ll find three large hotels connected by a scenic coastal pathway that runs along the shoreline, as well as three stunning lagoons. The property itself sits beside the third lagoon, which is beautifully sheltered by rocks. Because of this natural barrier, the waves are gentle and calm, making it a perfect and safe spot for swimming, especially with children. The water is crystal clear, the beach is well-maintained, and the entire area feels peaceful and luxurious. The resort grounds are truly impressive—lush, impeccably landscaped, and incredibly clean. There are several pools, hot tubs, two saunas, a fitness center, restaurants, grills, and many cozy relaxation areas. In the evenings, the hotel often hosts entertainment programs, creating a wonderful atmosphere for guests to unwind. The rooms are in excellent condition, with modern furniture and very comfortable beds. Everything you need for a perfect stay is provided. In my room, I had a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washer and dryer, which made the stay even more convenient. Each floor also has access to filtered drinking water and ice machines, which is very practical. The hotel staff deserve special recognition—they are attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything you may need. Their hospitality truly enhances the entire experience. I highly recommend Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and well-organized resort that exceeded all my expectations. I would gladly return again.
